Our senior hospitals in Auckland provide specialised care for older people who require round-the-clock assistance from registered nurses and caregivers.
We understand mental health and physical health are equally important and that everyone has different needs, meaning all our senior hospital residents each have comprehensive care plans, tailored to their individual needs.
Our aim is to provide comfort and support to our residents and their families, so you and your loved ones can get the most out of life. Sometimes this means as a caregiver you need a break, and our Respite Care programme will provide you with this. From 1 day to two weeks, our respite programme is designed to provide some well-deserved downtime for our community’s compassionate carers.

Geriatric Care
Heritage Lifecare offers a range of geriatric care services in our two Auckland locations.
Our Care Home at Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare offers Rest Home & Respite Care as well as Specialised Hospital Care. In our Rest Home, residents are attended to by warm and compassionate staff, with registered nurses providing round the clock care. Our respite programme is available to carers in need of a break, and we provide this service for as little as one day or up to two weeks.
Palms Lifecare & Village in Pukekohe offer all of these services too, as well as a Day Programme. Our Day Programme is designed to introduce the different geriatric care services we have to offer and also provide an open day for people to look around the grounds, check out the local areas and meet some of our residents and staff.
